I wanted to provide you an update regarding Shoplifting, which members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO)
CBO's are designed to protect our communities from persistent anti-social behaviour. By placing clear restrictions and offering support for rehabilitation, CBOs help individuals change their path while making our neighbourhoods safer and more respectful. They’re a vital part of building trust, reducing harm, and ensuring everyone feels safer. A Criminal behaviour order (CBO) was approved for Ryan NEW by Uxbridge Magistrates court on the 29th of October 2025 for the duration of 5 Years. The conditions are as follows:
The defendant must not:
1. Associate in any public place or motor vehicle in England and Wales with the following individuals:
Christian BOATENG
Ashley MEYNELL (Skipp)
Matthew MCINTOSH
2. Enter any retail or commercial premises in England and Wales from which he has been formally banned.
3. Remain in any retail or commercial premises in England and Wales having been asked to leave by a member of staff or security guard.

A legitimate employer/employment means that the defendant must be on the payroll of the employer and this employment must be registered with HMRC).
Shoplifting is a crime that can have a substantial negative impact on local businesses across London. If you notice anything suspicious or witness anyone shoplifting, please report it as soon as possible. These reports are invaluable in letting us build a picture of when and where shop lifters operate, meaning we can be in the right place at the right time to arrest those responsible. For more guidance, see our page on how to spot a shoplifter. We are working on our brand-new strategy for how we police London and we want your help. Our New Met for London: Phase 2 strategy will guide how we deliver on behalf of Londoners over the next three years. |
